Protect Water - Clayton Tucker for TX Ag Commissioner Skip navigation

Water

Lakes going down, aquifers dropping, Texas is running out of water. And yet, AI data centers, billionaires, and other Wall Street oligarchs are coming to mess with Texas’ water. We need a Texas Agriculture Commissioner who keeps Texas water for Texans, not for Wall Street profits.

Our resources are precious and need to be protected from big Tech businesses. Growth is one thing that should not touch or harm our farmlands and precious resources. Fresh Food and water come first.

We do not have enough water for our own people let alone a wasteful entity, not to mention the terrible footprint this would leave on our beautiful land.

Our tanks in Fayette county are almost dry. We don’t have water to give!!

Certain officials are allowing this to happen and are proud of it, even calling it the next gold rush. It’s going to ruin our ranchers and farmers. But maybe that’s what they want so we can just eat lab grown meat.

Watch what is happening with LCRA. Downstream in Eagle Lake and upstream near Austin, in Pflugerville.

Connecting the dots after watching LCRA’s water data reporting it looks like it’s only a matter of time before water will have to be trucked in here too.

They need to construct data centers by salt water sources, they are plentiful.

OR they need to use a continuous loop system and put treatment on that water so their equipment doesn’t corrode.

BUT there is the electricity issue.

So they have to use more kilowatts and poison our air. The Sam Seymour Power Plant dumps emissions while we’re sleeping. Kitzman told me to my face two weeks ago that the coal fired plant here is one of the safest and others are modeled after it. When I looked up its exact ranking, it’s the FOURTH DIRTIEST in our country! So we’re going to not only run the ranchers dry, their cattle and their FAMILIES will be sick too.

    This needs to STOP!
