    Texas water is a finite public resource, not an unlimited commodity for corporations to exploit. Agriculture, communities, and Texas families must come before excessive industrial consumption. Businesses that use enormous quantities of water should pay rates that reflect that consumption and its impact on our aquifers, reservoirs, and infrastructure. Growth and industry are welcome, but not at the expense of the Texans who already live here or the generations who will come after us.
