Lakes going down, aquifers dropping, Texas is running out of water. And yet, AI data centers, billionaires, and other Wall Street oligarchs are coming to mess with Texas’ water. We need a Texas Agriculture Commissioner who keeps Texas water for Texans, not for Wall Street profits.

    I have paid for two River authorities on my HMW water bill, that I do not have the right to use, on my bill for over a decade. I have asked begged and been promised change. Needless to say it’s a dead end. I cannot dig a well because the govt enlarges the acreage requirements. I had government come inspect my yard for wells. I cannot collect my water from the air or roof because I have “no rights” to it? Water is big business along with every other regulation that’s killing the people financially. We are on the hamster wheel paying for life we cannot enjoy it.
