Stop AI Data Centers - Clayton Tucker for TX Ag Commissioner Skip navigation

Stop AI Data Centers

Data centers, including those for AI, are cropping up across Texas. If we are not exceedingly smart with their design, placement, and purpose, they will cause higher water and power bills, run water wells dry, and may hurt jobs.

The TX Ag Commissioner can stop, or at the very least buy time for locals and other officials to find different ways to stop, these irresponsible AI data centers from causing mass water/power inflation or harming . On Day 1 of the job, Clayton will issue "Ag Impact Studies" to force data centers to be honest with their resource consumption. This will also slow them down considerably. Clayton will also help locals set up "Ag Development Districts" so that locals can fight back.

For a data center to be considered responsible, it must:

  1. Not cause power disruptions or inflation.
  2. Use brackish or other non-drinking water in a sustainable way, thereby not causing water bill inflation.
  3. Use unionized Texas labor for construction and maintenance.
  4. Pay fair and adequate taxes to their local community.
  5. Not contribute to the the inflation of RAM, computer memory, or other components leading to inflation of electronics.
  6. Not to be placed on prime farmland.
  7. Not be used to automate jobs away, used to promote propaganda, or be used to create a subscription economy where working people own nothing and billionaires own everything.

Data centers, including those for AI, are coming to mess with Texas. With them will come higher water and power bills, dry water wells, and no real jobs. These data centers are of, by, and for Wall Street. They will harm both Main Street families and County Road farms. We need an Agriculture Commissioner who will fight to stop all irresponsible AI data centers from causing mass utility inflation and who will put Texans first, not Wall Street or Big Tech.

I pray to God that these Farmers do this. I rather see a Farmer anyway on a tractor going down the road or in the field than any Data Center and Flock Cameras which is Unconstitutional and against Our 4th Amendment.

God Bless you for fighting against these evil data centers. We’re fighting one here in Sulphur Springs, TX from being built. A brand new school has been built just a mile from where they want to build it and our awful city manager and majority of our city council could care less about all who are against it. Heck, our city manager even walked out of one of the city council/public meetings and he rolls his eyes, slumps in his chair as if he could care less and he’s way over paid, higher pay than most I’m the state, I believe he’s even paid more than our governor, not to mention he’s had this job for 30 yrs, only way to get him out is the city council has to vote him out, which 4 out of 7 are for him. Our city managed has been known to threaten and bribe and over use money, just not a good guy over all.

Help increase our impact!
