Lampasas, TX - The Clayton Tucker campaign announced today that it has officially become the best-funded grassroots campaign for Texas Agriculture Commissioner in decades, surpassing the previous fundraising record of approximately $452k set by Kim Olson.

The campaign is also on pace to have more individual donors than all Democratic Agriculture Commissioner candidates combined since former Texas Agriculture Commissioner Jim Hightower, reflecting the campaign's rapidly growing grassroots support across Texas.

"This campaign isn't powered by billionaires, corporate PACs, or data center investors. It's powered by Texans," said Clayton Tucker. "Every donation represents someone tired of seeing the Greedy Few rig the rules against farmers, ranchers, workers, and families."

Since launching his campaign and becoming one of the first candidates to sound the alarm about the AI data center takeover of Texas, Tucker has traveled across the state building a grassroots movement focused on stopping irresponsible AI data centers, protecting family farms, lowering food prices, defending Texas water, and standing up to monopolies and corporatists' interests.

"Only organized people can beat organized money," Tucker said. "Texans have a long history of proving the power of organized people. Texas launched the populist movement during the First Gilded Age, and we are relaunching it for our current Second Gilded Age. We will continue proving that the only thing that can beat organized money is organized people."
