Hemp - Clayton Tucker for TX Ag Commissioner Skip navigation

Hemp

Hemp is an important product with many uses and benefits.

As Texas Agriculture Commissioner, Clayton Tucker fully supports the right for every farmer to raise hemp, and adults to consume hemp products, without undue interference from government or corporations. Clayton is against any corporation creating a monopoly on hemp production or processing. Clayton supports fair and transparent labeling for all hemp products. Clayton will work with both Congress and the Texas Legislature to achieve this.

As someone actively working in the hemp and wellness space, I’ve seen firsthand how impactful this plant can be—for farmers, small businesses, and everyday people seeking alternative wellness options. Hemp deserves fair, thoughtful regulation—not restrictions that benefit large corporations over local communities.

As an indigenous local of Corpus Christi, I’ve seen too many years pass with no solution and I’ve also seen that it’s within all these years these people of the council, do not recognize the indigenous of Corpus Christi. Where several of the matriarchs of different tribe came together at a beach cleanup. Abbott sits still and the mayor of CC is a straight up party party lush with her council every year of holiday when I see them celebrating holidays at familias home. SMH it’s like they use all the money for infrastructure of their streets they get repaved every time they can while the entire city still needs work. I know how cheap the council is to spend money on better looking things for Corpus, or revamping places of yesterday they don’t do. It’s frustrating living with folks that have no brain for solution and then seeing our precious island being tarnished with silly ideas of people who are not even Islanders that moved here. Seeing them with their silly ideas of complaining about seaweed, complaining about the dunes, complaining about what makes our beach the beach. With their drunkenness, with their racism they bring, and with their zero solutions as they keep moving here 💯🔥 its outrageous, these people need to stay where they come from and if people come here with no solution, don’t come! Go away! Stop ruining our beaches! And give the Karankawa their death recount they deserve as all the non-indigenous stopped at 10,000 in the 90s. 10,000!!!!!!!!!

The Karankawa are alive and deserve to be recognized. 💯 #LANDBACKNOW IS FOREVER THE SOLUTION. 💯
