Hemp - Clayton Tucker for TX Ag Commissioner Skip navigation

Hemp

Hemp is an important product with many uses and benefits.

As Texas Agriculture Commissioner, Clayton Tucker fully supports the right for every farmer to raise hemp, and adults to consume hemp products, without undue interference from government or corporations. Clayton is against any corporation creating a monopoly on hemp production or processing. Clayton supports fair and transparent labeling for all hemp products. Clayton will work with both Congress and the Texas Legislature to achieve this.

Climate control begins from the ground up. Farm n croplands are poisoned by chemicals and evil managing companies chasing the dollar at expense of life. Bring back “green” dirt and crops.

We grew 3 acres of Hemp the first year it was legal here. We had issues with cotton root rot and southern blight. Despite this we had a great crop. But sadly the bottom dropped out of the hemp market that year and we lost a ton of money. Good luck to you. I support the cause, just make sure you have your business plan in place before investing several hundred thousand dollars.
